Victor Ochoa, DVM, MBA

Victor Ochoa holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and an MBA in Energy Administration and its Renewable Sources from the Monterrey Institute of Advanced Technological Studies.

Since 1988, he has been Managing Director of Granjas Carroll de Mexico (GCM), a company that has grown from 7,500 sows to 95,000 sows, becoming Mexico's largest pork producer. With 2,800 employees, GCM is the only Mexican pork producer with the whole system being ISO-14001  and Animal Welfare Certificated and member of the United Nations Global Compact.

Mr. Ochoa is President of the Mexican Feed Industry Council (CONAFAB), with more than 174 associates and representing close to 35 million metric tons of feed per year. He is also a member of the Board of Directors from OPORMEX, the Mexican pork producers' association.
