Robert Saik is a Distinguished Agrologist, Professional Agriculture Consultant, agricultural entrepreneur and futuristic thought leader.
Robert is CEO of DOT Ready Retail which is the marketing arm for the DOT autonomous robotic farming platform. In this capacity Robert is leading the transformation of broad acre agriculture by creating a new retail system bringing robotic technology, data and advisory services to farmers.
As CEO of his holding company, Saik Management Group Inc, he provides consulting services to many organizations and serves on several boards and advisory committees.
He has leveraged these strengths to found over 15 companies in the areas of Agri-Retail, Distribution, Ag Tech and most recently completed the sale of Agri-Trend/Agri-Data to Trimble. Agri-Trend was recognized as a 2012 & 2014 Western Regional Canada Top 50 Best Managed Company and was recognized by Venture Magazine as one of Alberta’s 2013 top 25 Most Innovative Organizations.
His latest start-up is AGvisorPRO a company designed to provide instantaneous technical support for farmers.
He been recognized for agriculture leadership by the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (Provincial Distinguished Agrologist of the Year) and in 2016 was awarded Canadian Agri-Marketer of the Year by the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association.
