A new president at the head of Le Porc Show

The board of directors of Le Porc Show has elected a new president to lead the return of this major event in the pork sector to a presential setting.

Although this will be his first mandate as president of Le Porc Show, Mr. Louis-Philippe Roy has a strong background, having already served on various boards of directors and even as president of Les Éleveurs de porcs des Deux Rives. He has been involved with Le Porc Show for 5 years.

The entire organization is pleased to count on Mr. Roy as the new president. He believes in the value of our event and will be able to keep in mind the objectives pursued, for the benefit of the pork sector and all its stakeholders. He will take over the reins of an event whose reputation extends beyond our borders and whose popularity has not diminished despite two years of virtual format.

He will also present a conference this year, sharing his experience as a breeder in the peripartum management of calving. He will be accompanied by Mr. Jean-Philippe Martineau from Groupe Cérès for the presentation.
