Guillaume Lavoie is a government policy entrepreneur, a lecturer, and an international affairs analyst. He pursued a career in public diplomacy in international relations, urban affairs and government policies. Having lived and worked on four continents, he has consulted for public, private and associative sectors, in Canada and abroad.
Lecturer at the ÉNAP, he is an associated member of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies, and a three-time international electoral observer - including Ukraine. A gifted popularizer, he has a vast experience as a media analyst on international affairs and American politics. A committed social entrepreneur, he co-founded the Collège néo-classique.
In addition to a passion for history and American politics, he's interested in rhetoric, cycling economy, analytical design and the role of urban art.
Guillaume holds a MPA (ÉNAP), a B.A. in Industrial Relations and certificates in Management and Law (Laval University). He also completed executive training at the LSE and at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Named Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute and the Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center, he has also received the Marcel-Côté Award for government policy leadership.
Proud of his roots, Guillaume was born in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
