The 12th edition of the Porc Show was held on December 9 and 10, bringing together nearly 730 participants at the Centre des congrès de Québec!
The first day kicked off with four workshops on herd management and reproduction, followed by a presentation from Vincent Chatelier, Research Engineer, on the economics of pork production and international competition.
This year’s revamped format featured festivities starting on the very first evening, right in the heart of the exhibitor zone. Participants had the opportunity to meet exhibitors, sample industry products, and attend two demonstrations, all while networking in a friendly atmosphere.
The following day began with a networking breakfast, followed by three morning conferences and a luncheon. The afternoon focused on workshops covering swine health and marketing, culminating in the on-stage presentation of the two winners of the Next Generation in Pork Production contest. To close the conference series, professional speaker and sports analyst Dave Morissette delivered an inspiring talk. Finally, the event wrapped up in style with our Exhibitors’ cocktail.
