Stéphane Bergeron is currently the Fruit and Vegetable Category Manager as well as the Meat Group Supply Manager for Sobey's in Québec. He has been the Meat Group Supply Manager for six years.
Thanks to his collaborative leadership and his experience, Stéphane communicates his passion for food to his team and his colleagues. He was a pillar for the Porc Québec supply project with Sobey's, rethinking purchasing processes to promote local products and offer Québec's pork for every pork cut offered in the grocery store.
Holding a bachelor's degree in economic science from UQAM's School of Sciences and Management and a trained butcher, Stéphane has acquired a wide experience in marketing and management through a variety of roles in Sobey's/IGA during the last 15 years.
Stéphane aims to improve the visibility of Québec's products in the grocery stores while fostering talent in his team. He's also doing different volunteer work in his community.
