In 2003, after obtaining his diploma in agronomy from Université Laval, Jean Poulin started his career at Aliments Breton/Génétiporc. Over the years, he has held several roles, from farm supervisor to sales and technical services representative. In 2010, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Génétiporc.
When the company was acquired by PIC, about four years later, Jean took on the role of Project Manager to oversee the transition between the two systems. He went on to rise through the ranks at PIC, where, surrounded by great people, in a company that offers a wide variety of career options, he had the opportunity to interact with several key industry players working in major global companies.
One of his main concerns in production is to bridge the gap between theory and the field by trying to understand the “why(s)”…
