Senior Vice-president Technical Services, Special Projects and Sustainability Development Olymel S.E.C./L.P.

Marco Dufresne, Senior Vice-president Technical Services, Special Projects and Sustainability Development at Olymel, is a food processing expert. With over twenty-two years of experience with pork, beef, poultry, and turkey proteins, he worked everywhere in North America with companies like Cargill and Olymel. He is responsible of the corporate responsibility approach for Olymel, managing the energy, environment, and residual waste valorization sectors.

Graduated from École Polytechnique with a degree in electrical engineering, and a degree in astrophysics from the University of Montreal, he is also a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. He obtained a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification and has been interested in Artificial Intelligence for almost 30 years.
